Secure Delivery Network

Offer consumers the option to have their orders delivered to secure pickup points to reduce the risk of theft.

Integration of multiple secure pickup solutions (lockers or staffed counters) into the Envoi Montréal platform.

Project description

Direct delivery to secure pickup points—such as electronic lockers, staffed counters, or relay points—remains underdeveloped in North America. While some solutions exist, they are not seamlessly integrated. This fragmentation of integrations creates a barrier for merchants and carriers due to the financial costs and time required.

Yet, more than three quarters of the surveyed merchants and carriers say they are interested in a secure delivery network.

Integrating several of these pickup points into the Envoi Montréal platform makes it possible to offer this service to merchants, alongside other carrier options. In 2023, the PUDO and Penguin Pick-Up networks were integrated into the Envoi platform. Shippers can now select this option when the relay point is linked to a carrier’s service.
